2. Web hosting
Once you have a domain name you will need somewhere for your website to live. A business website is like a shop window, so if choosing a domain is the equivalent of choosing a business name then signing up to a webhost is the same as renting a shop in the real world.

3. Design

You don’t need any coding or design experience to create one of these websites, it’s as easy as editing a text document or image.


4. Finding your business on Google
Once your site is ready, you need to think about how your potential customers will find it. Think about how you would start if you were looking for a particular service – probably a search engine.

Your first job then is to make sure that they know you exist, by submitting your URL to Google and Bing, or any other search engines.

There are other ways to advertise too, things like Facebook and Twitter are fast-becoming one of the preferred ways for customers to get in touch. By increasing your online presence, more people will be able to find you and buy from you.
